I'm in the same position, all be it I hadn't got round to trying an older
version. good job. I'm also Win 98SE and J 4.501. I think that's my jaws
speck, with a lot of other digits at the end that I can never remember. The
older version didn't work for me either. I am on dialup, which I guess
doesn't help.

Colin

I had the same problem, and updated to msn 6.02. It does not work at all
as I can send out but not get anything back. I tried to uninstall it which
I did, but now version 5 does not work either. i believe there may be
alternatives, but I have windows 98 so appear to be excluded from most of
those as well.

If anyone has an answer, then I would love to know about it.

Anyone else had problems with msn recently? I'm being forced to update to
version 6.02 as msn 5.00 is no longer available, or according to the on
screen notification. what are the implications here? and are there Jaws
scripts for msn 6.02?
