Hi Steve, Ok, how exactly would this work - are you saying that the sound card when I play an MP3 or other audio is transmitting data to the midi port? If so, what is the success of doing such an operation (i.e, have you tried it)? Thanks. Andrew. ________________________________ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Nutt Sent: 10 April 2005 08:59 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: "mp3 to midi conversion" Hi Andrew, What about using a sound recorder, such as Total Recorder, or Sound Forge, to record the output from the MIDI port on the sound card, then save it as MP3? That would certainly do it. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. If there is any software that does this, which I doubt, it would have to be quite expensive, quite technical and possibly won't give you what you want. Let me know if you find anything as I would be interested to hear results. Thanks. Andrew. ________________________________ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of AZAR!!
