It should work fine. Your license number is unique to you and should
remain the same as you upgrade from one version to the next. This is
certainly the case if you keep up to date with an SLA at any rate.

Subject: [access-uk] moving jaws to netbook issue again

Hi.

Apologies for my earlier post, some of the info was lost so here goes again.

I?m probably going to buy a netbook tomorrow as appears to be the trend. I
will need to put jaws on it. As there is no CD rom drive on it, I guess I?ll
have to download the latest version of jaws from the web and then authorise
it by typing in the long number that is on the original cardboard sleeve for
jaws, in Braille.

OK. So here?s the question I need answering.

I?ve got jaws 10 on my pen drive. I can put this on the new netbook and my
SMA is up to date, no worries there. However I can only find the cardboard
sleeve for jaws 8.0

Question: is the long Braille number on the sleeve going to work on my
downloaded copy of jaws 10 and authorise it properly?

Thanks v much.
