Hi Billy.Do you have the original system recovery media for this machine, else is the system recovery partition in tact? If so, recover the machine back to factory default installation, that way you'll at least have a spare machine lying around you can use or your daughter can use for that matter.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay with this reply, but my daughter has been very busy with her college work, and we have just gotten round to trying out allthe fantastic suggestions from the list. I must just tell you all, we tried each suggestion at least a couple oftimes, but we are sorry to say, none of them worked for us. The system justkept trying to reboot after each time, but of course nothing happened. Because of college work my daughter feels she cannot spend anymoe time onthis laptop, so she has decided to purchase a new system, wee bitta drasticme thinks, but who knows. Now we have a laptop lying around doing nothing. Anyway, thanks for all your help, Billy ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
