Hi Shay, Have you installed and then uninstalled Google Chrome or Firefox recently? If so, then that is the problem. Both tend to leave the registry key that controls this action with their details. What you need to do is to open IE9, go to 'tools' and then click on 'Internet Options'. Go to the 'Programs' tab and click on the 'set programs' button. In the dialog box that opens, tab to the 'set your default programs' and click on it. Tab to the list of programs and scroll down to 'Internet Explorer' and then click on the 'set this program as default'. Do the same for Microsoft Outlook if you are also using that program. Click 'OK' to close the window and close any other open windows. You should now be able to open links in Word. But now I have to copy and paste links into IE9, and every time I press enter on a link in outlook, I get a message saying that this operation was canceled due to restrictions on this computer and that I sould contact the system administrator. I ran into this problem when I was using OE, but I don't know how to fix it with outlook. If anyone has ideas, I would really appreciate the help very much. Thanks in advance.
