I have also heard that the Nokia 1100 isn't bad but again I'm not really the 
best person to comment on this.

some people have also said that this magnifies too much so that you can't
see enough of what is on the screen.  I am not a magnification user though
so can't really comment.

If you get a phone that uses the series 60 1st or 2nd edition, you can
try Nuance Zooms, which is a software magnification package. Go to
