Well Billy if you've gone for Home Premium, you should be fine with the
standard copy. I have Windows 7, and my standard copy of JAWS 11 works fine
on it.

the standard version.
I have now downloaded the 64 bit version, and that seems to be installing

What error message did you get? I'm sure the chaps on technical support
will help you if you give them a call. You really don't need to pay for the
Pro version if you are intent on using Standard, that's all I'm saying. It
is more expensive, and the SMAs are too.

Standard as it'll cost you to go Pro with their updates.

The standard version of jaws will do home premium, though I'd go for the
professional as that gives you a much better scope for upgrades.
