I've this up and running now.Got winamp, Windows Live Mail running, Windows Live Messenger, Juice, IE 8 seems fine, there are a few qwerks like not being able to access the sys tray with ins f11, but win key b doesnt' do a bad job.
All ina ll for a beta I'm very impressed. I'll definitely be buying the final release when it's out. From the afternoon I've had on the machien anyone who's nto happy with Vista you'll want to switch for performance alone.

Hi, some virtual machine products feature "easy install", meaning that it automatically installs the guest operating system, along with theappropriate tools for your virtual machine to integrate. VMware Workstationis an example of a tool that features this capability. You just supply itthe installation media or disk image, the product key, and, optionally, your username and password. Once the virtual machine is powered on for the firsttime, easy install will install the guest operating system, along with the version of VMware Tools for the guest. Hope this helps. -- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266----- Original Message ----- From: "Dj Paddy" <mygroups@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, February 12, 2009 11:30 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: jaws and windows 7 Folks, I've not followed any of your threads on Win V7. I've just got a desktop box that I'm going to use as a server and somefiddly bits having been concentrating my computing to accademia for ages I'ma bit late to the party with actually using Win 7. I tried installing it as a Virtual Machine on the Mac but there's a screen that you need eyes to read, (unlike XP), who's install reads fine.So how are you installing it on your PC's, sighte dhelp, automated install, unattended install, you're partially sighted? Someone mentioned that it could onlyrun in demo mode, but obviously it can run as a fully functioning version. terry----- Original Message ----- From: Tristram LlewellynTo: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 2009 10:23 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: jaws and windows 7 There could be a variety of issues at present since JAWS 10.0 has not been adapted to run Windows 7.0. Bear in mind that Windows 7.0 is stillbeta and as I say work to make JAWS Windows 7.0 compliant. Also I wonder if perhaps you are using 64bit Windows 7.0 perhaps which at this present stagewill complicate matters considerably. Be assured though to work to make JAWS work with 7.0 is underway. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
