Internet License Manager

Internet License Manager (ILM) authorization is used for JAWS versions 5.10 and later. This authorization scheme allows you to connect to the Internet and retrieve an Activation License code. This Activation License code will continue to authorize JAWS until you remove it or substantially alter your computer's hardware configuration. If you do not have an Internet connection, you can still activate your product by telephone or fax. Alternatively, a user with an Internet connection can help you activate JAWS. Internet License Manager greatly simplifies the authorization process. You no longer need to keep track of a dongle or authorization disk to use JAWS, and you can activate your license of JAWS on any computer with an Internet connection. ILM authorization also streamlines multi-user implementations of JAWS, allowing you to set up a license server that assigns "tokens" to authorize JAWS for all users on the network.

For more information on Internet License Manager (ILM) licensing, visit www.FSActivate.com. If you have JAWS 5.10 or later, you can read more about all authorization schemes in the JAWS Help topics.

Chris and Hannah's dongle issues are not straightforward, due to ILM issues and are actively being worked on by Sight and sound as I write.

Glenn
