TAB TO SERVICES AND UNCHECK WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO RUN.
IF YOU MEAN THE WHAT STARTS ON START UP, TAB TO THE START UP PAGE FROM MSCONFIG.
NOTE, JUST UNCHECK PRINTERS AND THE LIKE, BUT NOT WINDOWS ENTRIES AS THEY MAY HAVE AN ADVERSE EFFECT ON YOUR SYSTEM.
YOU CAN HOW EVER DESELECT WINDOWS MESSENGER.
