Well I hope that doesn't prove problematical for you with Itunes, I'm not 
updating my version, as it works well with JFW9, and I don't want to lose any 
functionality that others have experienced -

  Ron, not sure what's going on here, but you might want to try without your 
IPod connected, but you might also want to bear in mind, that others have 
reported issues with the latest version of Itunes, so you might want to say no 
to the update anyway -

    Hello folks, I tried to download an update to iTunes today.  I got a 
message telling me that iTunes could not backup the iPod because the backup 
could not be saved on the computer.  I am not sure what this means or what to 
do now.  The iPod was on charge at the time.

    Does anyone know please?
