 Hi Maggie, there is only one version.  You need the Ipad2 as I think the Ipad 
one is still available.  Shop around, www.ebuyer.com have it for £395.

Maggie, I am pretty certain you will be able to do that.  You will probably 
need someone to switch VO on and then it is more or less like the IPod touch 
which you are used too.  I have just bought one for my wife's birthday and she 
is loving it.  She is sighted but it is much bigger and it is a WOW experience. 
 There is a lot of help on www.blindcooltech.com and other sites.  Good luck.
