Hi Douglas

Yes, I too had the nine updates yesterday, but no SP1, so I assume it isn't time for me to start tugging my hair yet!! (smile.) Will leave it until it makes its own entry. (grins.)

Jackie,
You may be interested in my experience of SP1 for a Vista laptop. I have the machine set to
notify me of updates but not to install them until I say so.

At the end of March I was offered the SP1 but for several reasons decided not to go ahead at the time. Yesterday I was offered 9 updates which I downloaded and installed, but SP1 was not among them. So it looks as if originally my system, particularly its drivers, were
considered suitable for sP1, but "they" have had second thoughts!

Hi Graham

I'm playing safe until the Windows Update feature alerts me that SP1 for
Vista is available to download, or is in the process of going to install
itself. I've just had a batch of updates today, and SP1 wasn't among
them, so will let it do its thing when it tells me. (smile.) Not one to
rock the boat at this point.

Jackie
