Hi Steve,

Shame they don't work together and produce a unit combining the best features
of each product and after sales service.

Cheers

Dave Ankers

Hi Dave,

They will never blow Plex out of the water, I reckon Plex will have a much
better recording mechanism.

All the best

Steve

Well, from your response, I'd say come on humanware, add the extra features to
the Victor Stream, and blow Plextalk out of the water. I know what you mean
about upgrades and support, I have a PTR2!

Cheers

Hi, as far as I know both cost £195. The other thing to consider is which
company will give the best and easiest upgrade and support? I'm plumping for
Humanware on that one, though the Plextalk does look good too. Yes you can
record and edit complex daisy audio books on the latter, but I wouldn't think
the mannual will be as comprehensive or easy to ollow and the battery life is
much better on the Stream at 15 hours, rather than 10. I'm pretty sur that
battery is removable too but I'l find out when i get my steam!
