When you say reset it Sunil, what do you mean? Do you just mean pull it out and put it back in again? Or are we talking tick boxes?

And here's me thinking that you thought all iPod users were fashion victims.

Fixed it by unplugging the Shuffle from the PC and resetting it...

Subject: [access-uk] iPod Shuffle - USB device not recognised

Hi, just plugged my iPod Shuffle into my PC and got a message about the usb
device not being recognised and that a USB device had malfunctioned. I
rebooted and I still get the message.

Its been ok since I got the Shuffle two weeks ago, I've tried plugging it
into another USB port too and it made no difference. The batteries were
charged up too. Any idea how I can figure out what, if anything has
malfunctioned and go about fixing it?...Was hoping to listen to sit outside
and listen to a brand new book!...ta
