[access-uk] iPhone dock HDMI output

Hi all.  

As a general rule, will the HDMI connection from an iPhone dock take both
the audio and video, or only the video, to the TV, please?  

Looking on Amazon, they all only mention the picture being fed down HDMI and
an audio line out socket being present.  

I want to plug it into my AV amplifier but it's a waste of time if only the
video is sent down the HDMI.
