[access-uk] Re: headings in word

Hi George, When you said control plus click I thought control plus the WE equivalent of click. But that didn't seem to work. An inspiration made me think that I should try control plus the left click on my mouse. That worked perfectly. It seems strange that I can't manage it any better with the keyboard alone but there you go.
Thanks for the help
Yusuf

Hi Yusef,

Looks like you have Tool Tips turned off.

Control + Click to follow a TOC hyperlink.

George.

HI George, The TOC is created and is at the top of the
page
now. WE identifies it as a table of contents. It also
identifies the entries as hyperlinks. It doesn't seem to
allow me to press enter, click, or use the insert tab
method
to go to the part of the document to which the heading
refers.

For example one of the headings is Rise and fall of the political press in Britain, which is on page 5. I can't
seem
to get straight to this.

Have I missed something? I didn't change anything in the
tables dialogue in the insert menue, reference submenue
when
I created the TOC.

Cheers
Yusuf
