Hi Graham, Like I said, you can hear them automatically, but you can bring them up in a list, from your current GPS position. If I know something is there I can find it, but are you saying I can not explore the are to find new points of interest? I am asking because, as far as I can remember, the trial of wayfinder only lasts a week. This is not a long time to experiment. You could then look at the destination screen and it would tell you how far you have to go. What you wouldn't hear are interim waypoints as you pass them. So not as limited as you think. Why not download the trial? All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. If that is the case, clearly this limits its usefulness as a mobility aid though clearly it is better than nothing. Are there any alternatives to wayfinder that work well with TALKS that would be better in this respect? You can find out your nearest waypoints. The only limitation is that you can't hear waypoints as you pass them. For example, if I want my nearest MacDonalds, I can go into search, type in MacDonalds, and then select "From GPS" as the search location, and Wayfinder will go away and do the biz. I can also select from categories such as Airports, Post Offices, Museums, etc, and just look at all of them, within any radius you like. What I can't do though, is hear those Waypoints as I pass them. But browsing your locale is a snap. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. I am interested in getting GPS for my Nokia 6630. I know that Talks works with Wayfinder but I understand that you can get directions about a route with wayfinder but not just explore your area. So, if I am staying in a hotel as I understand it, I can't find out what points of interest are around me then find a route to them. If this is correct, this is clearly a limitation so I have 2 questions. 1 is WayFinder likely to add the explore my area type feature to it's capability and secondly, are systems like TomTom in its various guises likely to be accessible to phones running TALKS soon?
