[access-uk] google mail - deleting?

hi, 

Using the basic HTML view aimed at us screenreader users on www.gmail.com - is 
it possible to delete emails from your inbox? Because I can't work out how to 
do it at all. 

I note also that the help section relates only to the 'standard' version of 
gmail which is inaccessible. You'd have thought they'd create some accessible 
help if they've bothered to create an accessible version of the site. I've been 
playing around with it for nearly 15 minutes. 

I tick the boxes next to the mails I want deleting. I've then variously clicked 
on REFRESH, GO, Trash, and all my emails still remain. 

Any thoughts appreciated. I fear the dominance of Google.
