What you can do is feed back to the RNIB and tell them you would have
preferred a speedier box and tell them how much you would have been
prepared to pay for it. You need also to get like-minded people to send
in similar. If they don't know, they can't act on it. A single clear
message would be helpful. We all need to get more campaign minded or
crowd minded. We can easily do this on the web.
If a recordable box is in development, you may want to get in early.

Absolutely we have to deal with reality and sometime accept compromise
whether we like it or not.
That of course doesn't mean we always have to accept second best but
what it does mean is that sometimes you have to appraise a situation and
decide whether you personally find the reality acceptable or not!

Hi,
Yeah, but a Sighted Person does not require the additional adaptations
that we do. Apple so far is the only manufacturer making large strides
witha mainstream product that's Accessible to us for the same price.
I'm not saying it's fair or right, but that is the situation.
