in the leeds area there is a allotted time for applying for the passes, don't know what the dates are for your surname but even if you have missed it it doesn't matter too much. if you miss the dates it just means that your application will be processed after all the others so you won't miss out, but your new pass might come a little late.

Thanks very much for the link Barry, I'll nip over tomorrow before the deadline for my surname and get my application in. It seems we'll have to wait to see the final conditions when they are published next March. Don't know if off peak times are the same all over England?

Hi folks

I understand that holders of blind concessionary bus passes will be able to
travel nationwide from April of next year. I have contacted my local
council but got no-where except that they advised me to pick up a leaflet
from my local post office. Can anyone give any info on this or direct me to
a web site where I can get more info on where and how to apply  for one of
these. I am in the Leeds area.
