One other precaution to take before you start fiddling in there is to turn
your pc off with the switch at the back then hold in for five seconds the
button on the front that you use to turn the pc on. This should save you
from getting any nasty shocks.

Hi,
I strongly advise you have someone sighted who has done this before.
Basically you need to take the side off the case (or the top depending on
the case type), take the backing plate out of one of the PCI card slots, and
fit the card into the slot which you should feel on the motherboard - these
are several grooves, and the card will show through the front of the whole
you made with taking the backing plate off. The card will need pushing
firmly down into the socket, then you screw it in place.
Be careful to take the usual anti-static precautions - i.e, touching the
case or another metal object before putting your hand in there.
Basically i would advise a computer shop do it for you.
Andrew.
