Hi Geff, I've been using Thunderbird on my laptop running Windows7 for
some time. It is pretty easy to use and there's a good podcast from
someone at GWMicro that talks you through setting up an account and
configuring the program. There are a few things that I don't like
however. I've not found a way of hiding read emails, nor have I
managed to successfully do a search. Also, with most emails I can't
find the senders address which is a particular problem if you want to
write to someone privately.
I've also been trying Outlook 2007 and whilst it is far more complex,
you can at least hide read messages. Hopefully someone else will have
other ideas.
