hi. i'm using ftp explorer, and i know many who use cute ftp. both have
excellent resume capabilities, as many ftp sites experience this type of
slowing down and stopping. using alt+F4 and answering yes to the
cancellation of the transfer and then beginning the download again, asks if
you want to resume the download. this is also very useful if contributors
add another book, play, etc. to a folder. just clicking on the folder and
going to download would add for instance a further paul temple 8 part drama
to your paul temple folder.

Subject: [access-uk] download managers
Hi,
I was downloading a couple of big files from the internet and the server
decided to not work when the downloading process was about 80 per cent. as
it took about an hour to get to this point I was not impressed. so I was
wondering whether there were any good download managers available out
there
that resume the downloading process when the server was available again. I
am using IE5 with win Me and jaws 6. are there any good free and
accessible
managers available and if so please let me know where I can download it
from.
thanks,
Husna
