Hi John

It was because my memory card was selected and not the
internal memory. I did wonder why it should try and put it
on the memory card in the first place. That is the only
obvious explanation I have for it.

Hi Adrien, I don't know what one earth you could have done,
but it wouldn't install on a memory card. Firmware installs
onto the unit itself.
