Of course, but you have to find the person to connive with you to sell/give you the said box and you have to have the know-how to instal it and tune it and know where to point your satellite dish. 
Unfortunately, I'm not one of the lucky thousands.

Well-not exactly, you could receive a huge range of radio stations in supior quality to DAB via a Sky digital satellite receiver but, and there always has to be a but doesn't there, it's not exactly legal. So a dodgy Sky box hooked up to your hi-fi would give you a very good selection of stations.
Many thousands of ex pats living in Spain and France do this and I haven't heard of anyone being slung in chokey for it.

Does anyone know if a digital radio purchased in the uk would work abroad? I would like to receive some English radio stations in France but without using tv etc the radio is the next best thing.
