In addition to my last contribution to the discussion, here's two links to a couple of RNIB pages which might be helpful to, Audio description homepage: http://tinyurl.com/a2wgb And audio description on TV: http://tinyurl.com/yoafg8 This is a field that's bound to change a good deal so a good source of breaking news would be useful too. (The above links to pages should reflect changes of course, but this doesn't always happen.) I have, however, trawled the RNIB site with no success - any idea where the file might be? David -----Original Message----- Ray's Home The Sony Bravia range is said to include audio description facility. I believe Panasonic flat screen TVs do too. (Panasonic came out well in recent Which? tests.) Cannot find it just now, but there is an RNIB page, and Word document download discussing this subject. Also, a Freeview box with in-built AD is supposed to be available before too long at very low cost for those on low incomes. All to do with the digital switchover. Cheers, Ray.
