The Sony Bravia range is said to include audio description facility.
I believe Panasonic flat screen TVs do too.  (Panasonic came out well
in recent Which? tests.)

Cannot find it just now, but there is an RNIB page, and Word document
download discussing this subject.  Also, a Freeview box with in-built
AD is supposed to be available before too long at very low cost for
those on low incomes.  All to do with the digital switchover.
