What advantages does this programme have over the normal add/remove, please?

Hi Graham,
I've heard it can be difficult, but try Add + remove Pro

Subject: [access-uk] difficulty removing Macafee

Hi all.

I have Macafee antiviurus on a new laptop I have bought. It came
installed and I want to get rid of it to replace it with Nod.

Can anyone give me tips on how to remove it? I am using Vista and can
select to remove it OK from Control Panel and Programs and Features
but when I choose to uninstall it I get the Macafee uninstall program
which looks difficult to access. I just want to get rid of the
thing. is this easily possible without sighted help?

regards

graham
