[access-uk] Re: dead laptop - your help needed

Phil,

I'd inadvertently hit the mute button on mine once and thought it wasn't 
booting ...

If you have enough sight to know that the black screen remains, or if you don't 
have a button you may have pressed for mute, then it's not that problem.  The 
volume settings could have got altered though.

Thought I'd mention these things just in case ...  Hope you're back up and 
running soon and that others have some good suggestions for you.
