That will mean rebooting every 40 minutes though. -- Carol HYPERLINK "mailto:carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx"carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx HYPERLINK "http://www.echurch-uk.org/testimonies/carolp.php"http://www.echurch-uk. org/testimonies/carolp.php -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Colin Fowler Sent: Saturday, January 08, 2005 12:52 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: data transfer from an old Desktop to a new laptop Hi Andrew, Thanks for that, guessed it wouldn't be that simple; after all it's JAWS. OK I can install the licence onto the laptop no problem, The difficulties arrive with the authorisation process. I've only got the auth keys on a floppy, and obviously the laptop has no 3.5 inch drive. What are the solutions with this? Not sure of the rest of the spec because it won't arrive till Monday. What I want to know is can I use the data transfer wizard to transfer from an old Desktop running win200 and JFW 4.51 to my laptop running XP Pro? In particular, can I transfer the Jfw 4.51 onto the lap top in this manner without having to faf about with removing it first from the desktop saving the auth key, reinstalling it onto the laptop and reauthorising it?
