Hi Clive,

Which basically says, why don't the bank get their fingers
out and do something about it?

IE7 has been in beta for quite a while.

Pond life!

Hello George and Barrie,

This is also true of our bank. The following is what it
says when we=20
log on to e-banking using IE7:

      Unsupported Browser

      Abbey is constantly seeking to improve the service
that it=20
offers to its customers. Every time you log on to our online
service,=20
we check to ensure that your current browser and computer
settings=20
will give the required level of performance and security.

      Our software shows us that the browser you are using
to access=20
the Abbey Online Service is not one of our supported
browsers. You may=20
continue to log on if you wish to use this browser, however
we cannot=20
guarantee optimal performance. If you would like to receive
further=20
information on the browsers we do support, simply click the
link at=20
the bottom of the page.

      Should you have any further questions, please contact
our=20
e-commerce support line on 0845 600 4388, between the hours
of 7am and=20
11pm, 7 days a week.

      You would think these problems should be sorted by
now!

      Best wishes,

      Clive Pallett
