I am using a credit card not from HSBC, and there is no problem with the
visa registration bit. Pete

Many thanks Pete, Just out of interst is your card a Visa Debit card or
one 
of the older style switch cards? I didn't have any problems until I
received 
my new Visa debit card from HSBC. The problem seems only to effect Visa 
debit and credit cards from HSBC.
