Yep, you can turn those off too.  It is in the Windows Security Centre.

Yep, I agree Andrew.  If you turn it off, you get messages all the time that
your computer might be at risk.  Maybe you can turn those intrusive messages
off too, but I just leave well alone.  I'm always kind to my computer, try
not to give it any grief, and hope to hell it behaves for me (grin).
