Hi,

The DSL goes through the RJ11 socket, the RJ45 plug is what you need for
the Ethernet to your computer. If these are the same Live Boxes that
Wanadoo have in the UK, the USB port emulates another Ethernet card in
the system processor, which yes will slow things down.

Andrew.

ah, as usual, I didn't use the proper terms I expect, I use the livebox
of
Wanadoo and I suppose it should be called a modem router, at the moment,

it's plugged to a phone socket with a rj45 and a usb cable to my pc, I
want
to use the eternet card on my pc because I'm told the connection will be

more reliable and faster.

Thanks for your help as always, Andrew,

Cheers now,

Marie
