I bought my current and previous machines, both laptops, from a mainstream supplier and have had no problems.

From my experience, I bought my PC's from mainstream suppliers, both in-store and online, with no problems. In fact I'm using this one, which is a Toshiba laptop, which I bought from dabs.com, with no issues, except for a conked out battery which happened at the beginning of June this year.

hi,

where did you guies buy your desk tops from? i got my last one from sight
and sound and it has performed okay most of the time but i was wondering
whether buying from a specialist company was still the advice for us or can 
i just get it from any old high street computer store like PC world?
