[access-uk] Re: brain port question

Hi Trace,

The vOICe maps live camera views to the ears whereas the Brainport maps
live camera views to electrodes on the tongue. The vOICe uses pitch for
height and loudness for brightness in a left to right scan of any view.
So instead of wearing a camera on your head and an electronic lollipop
in your mouth you wear a camera in combination with stereo headphones or
ear buds.

More information can be found in a plain text mini-tutorial at the URL

as well as in an online tutorial by Pranav Lal at the URL

Best regards,

Peter

What differences are there between it and the brain port please?

Thanks
