I heard it was six or seven.

One of the worst decisions I have ever made ... but life is more than that and we've had to cut our losses rather than fight them in our present circumstances, but let's hope, just maybe, they have to make all good!

Hi,

Are you kidding?  The processor is about three years old.  It's an early
Android processor.

Hello,

What is actually wrong with the hardware? It seems to have a farely decent
processor for a tablet, if I'm reading it correctly.

Hi,

Yes, if Braillenote Touch were on Android 6 or 7, it simply wouldn't

But I think you should all quit moaning about it, and vote with your
feet, and get a refund.  Or rather moan about it to Humanware, who
probably won't be interested anyway.

hi there, unfortunately, this is not necessarily the version of android.
not all kitkat devices crash monthly. if you had a newer android, it
could still crash. if anything, it would probably be worse on a newer
version.
a
lot of it is the hardware, at this stage.

it's not just the price but the back up one gets from these companies.
four
thousand is a big lot of money to pay out but for the machine just to
keep going truly dead is very very poor indeed. surely this device
has to be upgraded to a different tablet and the more up to date
android version.
like
jackie has done it does make one thing the way to go is main stream.
whether
it runs on old versions are not it should work better than it is doing.

I'm sorry to say that Humanware's reputation  both for product
excellence and great customer service have both gone through the
floor in relation to the BN Touch. I cannot remember another
note-taker which has so consistently failed to live up to its hype
and failed to deliver on its potential. HW has similarly
consistently failed to address issues relating to the age and
performance of the Android OS running on the Touch and also dodged
questions about security patches being made available by Google.
For me the Braille Note Touch was the big disappointment of 2016.
This disappointment was compounded by the fact that it was the
second piece of specialist access tech to let me down within a
matter of months Ian Macrae

suddenly it locked up and they sent someone out to sort it.
again this machine has done the same and now if they come out it's
G300

surely this is wrong humanware should either get the touch to work
on a
much higher version of android or sort something out with it. the
machine is just truly dead if mine goes like that what could i do.
it's very very poor.
at least he still has his old apex to manage with.
