One other thing I didn't mention Karen re. the Currier, is that it does play TNAUK recordings, and to my knowledge - which isn't exhaustive! - it is the only portable player that does. I'd have thought for anyone who's got a Currier, or a Book Port, it is questionable as to whether it is worth changing players. I'm a first time buyer in this field, hence my interest. No doubt Brian will be reviewing the Victor Stream soon, but in the meantime it does strike me that for some the stream's very smallsizewill be attractive. On the features front it can also speed upDAISYbooks like many of the CD players can. It should also supportAudiblebooks in the near future through a firmware upgrade. If all this wasn't enough there is also now the Vi-Player joiningthefray, which Calibre seem to have some association with. This will apparantly be demonstrated in the reading room at Sight Cheers,Village.
