Hi David Which speaker did you go for? If it is the Desaia Beat Box, it comes with a cable so you can pair it via Bluetooth or use the 3.5mm jack. While the BookSense XT supports Bluetooth, I don't think it is the best device for pairing, and lots of devices don't seem to work, least not for me. This is the problem with specialist players in that they use older technology and at high prices for the privilege! I am amazed that none of the others are Bluetooth compatible. I have never owned a Bluetooth speaker until today, so did not take an interest, but it does surprise me how badly equipped some of the players for the blind appear to be. I suppose it is all about cost. At least I have my new ipad mini which is Bluetooth compatible. Thanks again to all of you. Now all I need to know is which cable to purchase to play my Stream through the Bluetooth speakers.
