I'm also finding accessibility issues with VLC. As I was saying in one of my previous emails to the list, I have only been using it because the format used for the archived shows on RTRFM (www.rtrfm.com.au) is not supported by Winamp. When I recently tried to jump forward in the archived show to a specific time, I used the "Jump to Specific Time" command, which is on the playback menu. Whether I arrowed down to that item and press Enter on it, or used the shortcut, which NVDA is telling me is Ctrl+T, I just get "invisible menu" and nothing to indicate where I'm supposed to select or input what time I want to jump to in the episode. The "Jump Forward" command", also on the Playback menu, does work, but only when I either arrow to it and press Enter on it, or use j for the shortcut instead of Alt+J as indicated by the screenreader. I've just tried this with JAWS too, and it's indicating the same thing. Even with the Stop command (also on the Playback menu), I had to do S by itself (without holding down the Alt key but with the Playback menu activated first), in order to stop the playback. Is this a bug or incorrect shortcut key assignment in VLC? And how does the "Jump to Specific Time" command work?

I use Winamp for playing all formats that Winamp supports. I only use VLCbecause Winamp doesn't support mp4 video format, which is what the archivedshows on RTRFM (www.rtrfm.com.au) are streamed in. I don't purchase musicfrom services like iTunes, and I haven't tried CD burning yet, though I didrecently download and install Express Burn.
