to copy the address book, say onto a floppy disk do the following.
from within oe, alt f for file menu, cursor down to export and press enter.
enter on address book and cursor down to the second one down the text option
and press enter.
It will ask for a name and where and having done so tab to finish and press
enter.

I think that is all there is to it.

Kind Regards
David Dick

Subject: [access-uk] backing up address book

Hi everyone,

can any tell me how i can back up my address book? I'm thinking of the one
that is used by OE as my contacts list. I'm gonna unistall my old office
2000 to put on office xp pro on my machine. If it wipes my address book,
I'll lose all the e-mail contacts I've accumulated. So, if anyone can tell
me how to do it.

I'll get it sorted.

thanks,

Justin
