Hi George, Billy and all,

I've been watching this thread with interest, as I am running IE7 on an Acer Travelmate Laptop which is also running Windows XP Home and Office XP Home.

I have not as yet turned Automatic Updates off in order to receive the latest update for the .Net Framework, but having read George's message to which I am now replying, I would appreciate some clarification on whether I should turn automatic updates off or not, and also whether I should look for this .net framework update in custom or express updates, as have not seen any reference to it as yet in Windows update. I apologise if the answers to my two part question have been given in earlier messages on this thread.

Thank you in advance for any advice.
