Hi.
When you spoke to Audible or when your partner did, did you activate your PC
as part of the installation process? Every device including both PC's and
MP3 players need to be activated before they can be used.
I don't use the stream myself, so I can't give you any further advice re
getting it to work, but what I used to do was to copy the books directly in
to the appropriate folder on my BookSense, the device I used until recently
and so long as the BookSense had been activated with Audible, they'd play
with no problems at all. I now use an IPhone and ITunes, at least I will
use an IPhone when the darn thing shows up, however that aside, ITunes
handles everything automatically for you so all I have to do is sync and
enjoy when my phone does make it here.

hi ibriham, yes i have downloaded and installed the audible manager and
have 2 books in there. audible talked my partener through the process so i
think i have registered my stream. my computer recognises my stream and i
can get as far as importing from audible to the stream, well i think that
is the case. at this point nothing seems to happen. although in my audible
folder one of the books is there but i can't open it. i think the message
i get is, file not activated but when i land on the folder it tells me it
is. am i being thick?

i have just joined audible and down loaded to books. i am trying to
transfere them to my streem and struggling in my attempts. i have got to
the point where the message says, import but nothing happens. or am i
being impatient.
