Hi mate,

I know that certain items are exempt from the money back guarantee but I don't know if this includes mp3 players, possibly as it is a storage type device and if it has earphones, they could argue that they have been used.

In terms of accessibility, you should look at Archos or Iriver models. Certain models will take the rockbox speech which will talk you through the menus and also the track listings. Also, I believe that rockbox has now been developed to cover the 20, 40 and 60 gig ipods.

HTH

Hi,

has any one returned any electronic equipment back to Argos recently? and
what was the result? I understand that they have changed their policy so
that you can no longer return goods with in 16 days as used to be the case.
and if this is the case doesn't it go against trading standards or some
thing?

thanks,
Husna
