Hi Ted.
You might want to look at the BookSense by GW Micro, its coming out in the next
couple of weeks. This is an all singing, all dancing digital player that can
play vorbis amongst other things. The XT version which is the upscale model
even comes with Bluetooth and FM radio, a first for accessible devices of this
type.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] advice re playing ogg files
Having recently wasted money on a Samsung media player which was unusable
with its touch sensitive controls, I am looking for a V I user-friendly mp3
type player that supports ogg vorbis.
If such a machine does not exist, then another question: I believe one can
get some sort of wireless device which plugs into the PC, and plays through
radios or hi-fi systems elsewhere in the house. Are these any good, and what
are they called? I would Google for one, if I knew what to search for.
I am reluctant to convert my ogg files to another format such as mp3 or wma,
as that is likely to degrade the sound quality.
I hope someone will have some answers,
Thanks, Ted
