HE said he lived in a shared home, rather than a communal building, I 
understand this to nean [co-ownership] and that he is paying part rent part 
mortgage to the housing association, apart from that, it is a house like any 
other, but the association will have control over things that change the 
nature of the property in some way, and if they are very pernickety, it can 
include installations on the roof. He could probably say nothing and just do 
it and nothing would happen, but that's taking a chance! -
