This is a bit of a worry.

Plusnet mannaged to leak details of their customer's accounts some years 
ago and the issues were huge with hundreds of e-mail addresses receiving 
thousands of spam messages a day.

Which isp do you use?  Chances are loads of their customer accounts will 
be getting the same treatment.
