If you are using your own email address, then you don't need anything from
Vodafone. You will need to know the address of the inbound and outbound email
servers for your email provider, if this is your own website then your web host
should have told you these details. Once you know these details, it is easy to
set up, its just the same as setting email up in something like outlook express.

Subject: [access-uk] accessing email from my mobile

hi all, i want to be able to access my email while i'm away from home next
week. i'm a PAYG custoemr with vodafone. are there specific settings i'll need
from my provider to connect? and will i have to ring them to get these details?
or they available on the net. although i presume they'll have to activate
something or other on my account. i can see how to set up the mailbox on the
phone etc, but i'm guessing there are connection settings i'll need from
vodafone. any help is appreciated. oh and it's not a vodafone email address,
it's the one i use everyday ( this one in fact)
