Actually, i find that the latest version of the online bible is more quirky with jaws than the version i used several years ago was. I like to just read the bible for the most part and I have problems getting it to perform even a simple "say all" to read longer sections of text.

Having to read a text with the arrow keys is not an acceptable solution to me nor what i consider accessible really.

Cheers,

Doris

I reckon Online Bible is much better (certainly with JAWS) than it used to

Actually, there is a commercial version of theophilos that does include the NIV and I believe that you can also buy and unlock code for the NIV under the Online bible OInterface. Bibleseeker is freeware and only contains public domain versions of the bible.

Of the other two, I much prefer Theophilos for its interface but the
more affordable solution to get the NNIV text would be with the
online bible interface, I believe. I would recommend downloading the
freeware versions of both packages and trying which one you like better.
Also, if you just want the text, the International Bible Society
offers the revised version of the NIV, called "Today's New
International version", I believe, for free download in pdf.

Lastly, I think there is a Bible Courier version of the NIV though I
am not sure if they ever resolved the copyright issue of selling the
NIV outside North America.

Cheers,

Doris
